It was such a pleasure to meet and photograph the Berry family!
They moved to Sudden Valley at the same times as I did,
and Kaysie is also a photographer
Their youngest child, Lincoln, has a rare form of ichthyosis and they
moved to Washington to provide a better environment for his skin.
He also has a large cyst and chiari formation in his brain, causing
obstructive hydrocephalus. Next week, he will be going in for a brain
surgery which will be a several day process
I wish them my very best in getting through all of this. I can’t imagine
how difficult it must be. I do see a bright future for them, and really
look forward to the completion of this whole process!
I was so happy to see that Lincoln was full of laughs and smiles when
we were taking pictures. They truly were all so much fun! Beautiful family.
If anyone is interested in learning more about Lincoln and/or donating to the family,
here are links to Kaysie’s blog & their GoFundMe page.

Kaylee & Lily did one of my Spring Mini Sessions, but I decided
I had to do a full blog post with their photos because I was so amazed by them.
I could not just choose a couple pictures! They were SO good in front of the
camera, and looked like beautiful little fairies, and the light was so dreamy!
