I met Rachel in my college painting class. I forgot to get my supplies in on time, so I asked if I could share hers.
Boy was I lucky I sat next to her!! Rachel not only let me use her paint, she also became a great friend
I was very excited when she asked me to photograph her daughter Autumn for her 1st birthday! I can already tell that
Autumn is FULL of personality, just like her mom! I have never met another 1 year old who smiled SO much!
I can’t get enough of her two bottom teeth.
Our idea of a summery beach photo shoot turned out a bit different than we anticipated. It was actually really cold
and almost raining the whole time. But, it actually ended up being the perfect “maritime-y” lighting, we kept saying.
Autumn was having the time of her life playing in the sand, smiling and shivering at the same time.
Lots of blanket breaks were needed!
Rachel had suggested that we go to Jetty Island in Everett. I had never heard of it…..apparently it is a man made island!
There is a little ferry boat that goes back and forth every half hour and is free! It is such a neat spot, I want to go back and have a picnic!
